RACE #166: The Haunted Half — Provo City

I am winding down on so much right now — not only am I winding down on my 2017 race schedule, but my 180 goal as well. This was my 29th race over 13.1 miles this year and fourth to last. That’s a lot of running. Then on top of that this is the 15th to the last race of my 180 race goal.

That last one is a harder one to process than this year’s race schedule. But, here I am running my 29th race of…

I am running today, of course.  But I want to be very clear as to what I am running for today.  This is not about Trump.  I am running today because I have to grow to understand and accept the questionable moral integrity of the country I live in.

Obama had to fight to protect the citizens of this country.  He then had to fight to protect individuals who were brought here illegally as children.  He did all he could to help.  And I am actually listening now to a couple of radio personalities (who I respect) giving their right wing opinion.  

The reason I have to run today is because Congress cannot come up with a set of laws that will pass that can protect individuals who have been a part of our society and economy since childhood.  Because we live in a democracy that refuses to enforce our views of "justice for all" and freedom.  We as people are not JUST objects used for monetary gain by big businesses and gangs, and the government, but we are also outnumbered in the individuals who have chosen to follow a path that allows for open minded attainment of knowledge between a diverse and unified mix of people by those who want something else.
