In Alexandria everything seemed normal, people were harvesting crops, making weapons, training and all sorts of day to day activities. Lori Grimes was one of the people there; doing laundry. Most times she didnât mind, but so many snotty brats would get mud and blood on their clothes on purpose to make it harder for her to wash it out. Mostly, the teenagers. She hated the lot of them, especially the ones picking on Lydia. She knew all the well what it felt like to be a threat, a traitor, and someone who was a victim of bullying. When Lori fell in love with Negan it wasnât like she planned on it, but he treated her like no other man ever had. She wasnât some harem wife from six years ago, she was his true wife, after Lucille of course. She could never replace the woman of course and the baseball bat Lucille was still Neganâs prized possession. She watched him go through torture day in and day out, suffered her own since Rick and Michonne never allowed her to see him. Daryl now was in charge of making sure Negan stayed in line.Â
So again, she had to keep her distance. But it was this one particular morning when Daryl was busy with Lydia and Michonne was gone to Hilltop so it gave her the advantage to go find her husband. She never looked at any other man other than him, even when the younger guys tried flirting with her promising her a good time in bed, she almost shot one of them. Lori wasnât to be trifled with and most people knew that. She had a temper like her bio father Shane Walsh had and could go off any moment. Taking a breath and shaking off the negative thoughts she went to go find him by the garden. He was on duty to pick vegetables and make sure the garden was well taken care of, and plus side he got some sunshine and what little interaction he could with people. She walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder with a huge grin on her face.
