Issues with Parents #2
My parents got a third car a few years ago for the kids to drive. The three of us had to share the car.
The ârents made rules for the car the following rules are: 1. You must ask to use the car at all times 2. Make sure your siblings donât need it 3. You canât take it everyday to school 4. Donât miss the bus just because you expect to take the car 5. The car was bought to share between the three of you
So, my brothers have broken basically every rule that was made up. My older brother had sports before school so he was allowed to take the car. If we had something before or after school (high school) we were allowed to take the car. But Ken (older brother) went off to college when I was in Grade 11 and needed the car but my ârents let him take it to college for the whole time he was in school, it only came home on holidays, reading weeks (maybe), and when it needed to go in for an oil change or tire change, so, I didnât get it in high school even though I needed it. Me in college now, I got it a lot because I needed it for the field that I am going for. But I come home every so often so my little brother (in high school) can use it too. But now Iâm done school for the summer (finished in April), so the car is home right now (been home for a while), Andy (little brother) is about to start is exams this week, but every time the car is here he expects to take the car to school, he misses the bus so he can take it. Today, I say something and he said back âitâs like you need it or are going anywhereâ, well he doesnât know that. I might have had plans or plan on going somewhere to take photos for an thing that I plan on doing. But no he doesnât care if I need the car. My mom being home sick today, knows that he expected the car and didnât say anything or tell him that she would drive him to school, she just let him take the car. When I missed the bus and the car was here, she would drive me to school because she didnât want me to expect to take the car. If I missed the bus it wasnât because I expected to take the car it was because my bus driver kept changing what time it was picking me up. I didnât even get the car during my exam week, and Iâm here to make sure that my little brother can use the car for his exams. So, my brothers have broken basically every rule that my ârents made when we got the car.
(P.S. names of brothers will be changed - they wonât be their original name)
