Mondo felt his ears burn and his lungs get short of air— looking down at the sweets that Kiyotaka had made him, made his heart soar to new heights. Though, he would do well to keep that excitement to a minimum as much as possible. With a trembling upper-lip, Mondo took two of the cookies and shoved them into his mouth, tears already slipping down his cheek. He couldn’t contain his happiness  and joy for long. “K-Kyoudai, fuck, thanks!” He mumbled, continuing to stuff his face. 

"Their really fuckin’ great, I love’em! Thank you Kiyo! M’ really happy ‘ta be spendin’ today wit ya too—even if its jus’ a little bit!"

"Happy Birthday indeed, Makoto-kun! I wish to you only the very best this following year has to offer, and I especially hope you and I will spent much of it in unison!" Kiyotaka additionally presses a kiss at the corner of Naegi's lips, one of many.

"I know me and Kiyo jus' started datin'...but, I-I keep havin' these damn thoughts 'bout him...below me, and were jus', ya know-- it's gettin' really intense and shit?! B-But we 'aven't even barely kissed and I shouldn't be thinkin' 'bout him that way, right?!"
