Emily is a Timber Rattlesnake because they are DANGEROUS and MAKE SURE YOU KNOW IT.
Ari is an American Water Spaniel bc she's the most employed c09 character and they're bred to work as game retrievers. Plus they're calm but not overly gregarious ('damn, Ari's cool with anything') but are known to form an extra strong bond with one individual. I tried to think of something non-dog for her but its simply untrue. Sorry Ari.
