Birdie is in her 50's and it's safe to assume Ollie is also in his 50's. This would put them in their teen years in human terms, even 50 is young in terms of long living races. And it shows.

Birdie has consistently shown a lack of long term critical thinking skills. She has a falling out with some people in the Fey? Well they just go have their daughter in an entirely different plane of existence! Said daughter is born under a red ominous moon? Should be fine! Oh wait it's not? Oops. Only starts to consider the potential dangers of being Ruidusborne after Ollie has a bad acid trip.

Daughter's life is in danger, so they place her into the care of Birdie surrogate mother. Not taking into account that said surrogate mother could be a hag/archfey who is powerful enough to have an entire domain and has been known to have selfish tendencies. Like what would they have done if Morri refused to give Fearne back?

Stealing shit from the Unseelie's and upsetting the delicate political balance of the Feywild, without truly understanding its power. Having to escape to the Material plane, again, to work with an individual called The Nightmare King. Who they, may or may not of known was experimenting of children.

And after 6 or 90 years, finally reuniting with your daughter and the first thing you do after finding out she's been trailled by assassin, who was sent by the people you pissed off, is to leave again, without providing any answers. And then after a shaky deal has been struck, you end up thrusting said daughter, who you emotionally and physically abandoned, into the mess you originally left to protect her from!

Not to mention Birdie's lack of immediate concern for the 90 vs 6 year difference and is only going to "have some words" with Morri.

Birdie and by extention Ollie are prime examples of people who have good intentions but very very very poor execution. A part of me things that leaving Fearne with Morri, while was for Fearne's safety was also for their safety too. We know all the stories and theories about how powerful Ruidusborne can be, case in point Imogen or even the Raven Queen who cracked the code to Godhood! I can imagine a late teen, early 20 somethings Birdie and Ollie being scared shitless and is only made worse by Ollie's dream.

i know it sounds crazy but listen imogen can summon red entity now and even be able to control her dreams for a little bit and take a glimpse on the red moon so it's possible that she's quite special because of her connections. also "destiny has already caught up to me" yet liliana didn't pay mind to it or say anything that could possibly help her, shed light on what's happening like knowing that her daughter's powers were awakened so there's a high chance of her searching for answers.

anyway one way or another, imogen and the bells hells will meet liliana and it's going to be on bad circumstance. (liliana saying she's sorry for cursing imogen and me thinking about her being sorry that imogen is her blood but what if she actually did curse her?)
