In episode 7, Uzi was lied to by N, secrets were kept from her, N made her feel unsafe, and she was afraid that she was going to get hurt.

but guess what?

even after everything, she still allowed N to hug her. to physically be touched affectionately by someone her trust was faltering with minutes ago. she allowed him to comfort her. She cannot bring herself to stay mad at him.

she literally forgave him in the matter of seconds.

do ppl not realize how much of a fucking amazing and forgiving person Uzi is?? Are ppl seriously sleeping on this?? /silly

her logic is quite literally “just hug it out” and strive for that kind of forgiveness. /silly

i think the problem here is ppl are forgetting that Uzi’s angsty teen mask in NOT THE REAL UZI. and ppl tend to make the determination that because she’s angsty, she’s gonna not forgive anyone and be perpetually angry at everyone forever. it’s the typical edgy teen way of thinking, ya see?

Another thing i think ppl are also not understanding that Khan leaving Uzi behind was quite literally THE TROLLEY PROBLEM.

Either way, someone was gonna end up being hurt. It was just a difficult and painful decision for Khan to make, obviously. We can see it in how he hesitated to close the door.

Khan’s decision of leaving Uzi behind wasn’t only because he was having a PTSD related panic attack/flashback, it was also supposed to represent that he was in a way choosing his reputation/deciding to keep the rest of the colony safe and solidifying his image as a good leader.. all over the safety of his daughter. Which no, in general and outside of this specific situation, i do not think that that leaving a loved one behind for the sake of your reputation of being a leader is okay or can be easily justified. This whole situation that Khan was in was just meant to expose one of his flaws—which is caring too much about what people think of him and being a good leader. The show has actively implied and acknowledged multiple times that what Khan did was wrong, and that he genuinely wants to fix that flaw of his and do better for his Uzi.

so, no. i do not think Uzi will never forgive Khan for leaving her for dead. it’s just not in character for her. if she forgave N that quickly, why would it be any different with Khan?

Uzi will not “hate Khan forever and never forgive him” and i will gladly die on that hill. /silly
