https://youtu.be/Kp5FktgchYw You know, it's hard for me not to be somewhat angry and resentful toward someone when a night one year ago essentially put me in this precarious position. I wasn't even trying to date this girl anymore and then one of her clients, let's say, gets me to hang out and we have a long conversation over the phone. I didn't even know Jerry Horton's name so I know I didn't simply imagine the whole thing. I hope one day this girl realizes the damage she does to other people, that her selfishness and immaturity come at a price. I don't even have a car now thanks to what happened in May (which would not have occurred were it not for that night post-Ruby Room). This, as I mentioned that night, is my favorite Papa Roach song. I am going to record a cover near Pittsburgh during my sessions late next month. Since plans to enroll at Claremont are falling through (should it relocate to Oregon), now is a great time to focus on music. Maybe LA will be good for me in that regard. One thing I know: I'll be more discerning and less "open minded" when it comes to dating and romantic interests. I deserve someone amazing on multiple levels. A good guy only makes sense with an honest, mature, authentic and got-it-together woman (or man for that matter). #paparoach #allthingspaparoach #borntorockhearts #lvrsrlntcs #jerryhorton #rubyroomoakland #claremontschooloftheology #wildernessstudio #recording #pittsburgh #coversongs #leaderofthebrokenhearts Honestly, not dating the aforementioned girl was just as much a relief as a disappointment. Yet the news regarding Claremont deflates me. I really had my eyes set on making that happen. Back to the drawing board!
