       One moment they were simply walking side by side, for once seeming to have a lighter conversation than usual. No cross words, and if it was safe to say, even pleasant. Though the advisor seemed to always enjoy her company, whether they were arguing or having meaningless conversation, it was just nice to have lighter discussions. Even if it was rare. But a few minutes in, it seemed to take a wrong turn— literally— as Milton turned to look at something. Foot stumbling over the other and it seemed to cause a chain reaction as he managed to trip Ruby in the process.

        With a thump, his body hit the ground, head hitting last and glasses seeming to fling off his face as extra weight came down on him. Now stunned and all together flustered, Milton just stared up at the other with wide eyes for a moment. Though the first thing that fell from his mouth was an immediate “Are you alright?” as hands now fumbled from their spot to come up and touch her arms lightly. It wasn’t him immediately searching for his glasses, or freaking out over such close proximity. He was genuinely making sure she was okay, even though he was basically a cushion for her when she came down.

     Milton’s body tensed as he felt her arms wrap around him, feeling confusion flare up as he remained motionless for a moment as he tried to put it together. As if there was some sort of puzzle to piece together at this strange encounter— well at least to him it was strange. Not once had Ruby attached herself to him in this manner. She barely even came close enough to touch other than some rare moments; it was even rare to see emotion from her, and when he did, he felt sort of honored. As if seeing a vulnerable part of her was only seen by those who were considered close.

Opinion on;

Character in general: I love Ruby, okay? I love all the layers and crafting that obviously went into the character.How they play them: Exceptionally well, of course. it’s always weird to answer about OCs tho, hahaThe Mun:  Haven’t talked all that much OOC but I still love you and our thread okay?
