#ruby rose cosplay

Ruby cosplay is complete babey!!!

It took a good few weeks but i just barely got everything done in time for Melbourne Supanova! Including crescent rose which I wasn't sure whether i would complete in time! It can either be worn attached to the belt or as a shoulder bag :) and it should fit everything i need to carry, meaning i wont have to mess w the vibe by carrying another bag

Also just for funsies i got a red hoodie & drew a little crescent rose design on it, so I've got a backup if i want/need to take some of the cosplay off throughout the day. Its also got Ruby's emblem on the front

Since this is basically just a RWBY blog at this point with how much RWBY art I draw I figured I might as well post this here too

Anyway here's an in-progress Ruby cosplay! I've been working on it slowly over the last few weeks and am hoping to get it done by this weekend so that I can wear it to Melbourne Supanova :)

Ive got 4 major things left to do:

1. Make the corset out of the proper material (the image is my test corset)

2. Make the cloak out of the proper material

3. Hem the dress

4. Make Crescent Rose (I'm planning on just making the compact version as a bag/pouch attached to the belt)

Other than those four things it's just a few more little bits and pieces I need to finish!! I'm so excited :)
