Q1. Do you play games? If so, what kind do you like?

Tsugumi: I do, I do! I play at Hibarin’s place, I play mobile games, and I go to arcades too! I pretty much like everything! Toki: You get really into them, then get bored super fast though. Haiji: I like rhythm games at the arcade. Tsugumi: Oh! Haiji-san, let’s go together next time! Haiji: Yeah, let’s definitely go. Hibari-kun, do you like games too? Hibari: I guess I enjoy them casually. I tend to buy hit home console games on impulse. Mitsuru: Hibari and Toki are both good at games. Hibari: If I like something, I’ll play it nonstop until I finish it. Toki-kun’s pretty good at everything—whether it’s slow-paced garden sims or action games. Tsugumi: It’s annoying sometimes when I can’t beat him. Toki: In score-based rhythm games, Tsugu gets so fired up that it never ends. Tsugumi: Ah, but I seriously can’t handle scary stuff… Toki: Ah—yeah, in horror games, Mitsuru and Hibari are super strong when they play together… Mitsuru: I mostly just do whatever Hibari tells me to. Hibari: It’s because you two get scared way too easily over every little thing. Tsugumi: But it is scary!! What about Rubire? Don’t you guys play? Akane: I don’t. But listening to you all made me kinda want to try a rhythm game. Haiji: Akane-san playing a rhythm game at an arcade… I feel like a crowd would form around him… Kurono: That’s no good. Isn’t there something you could do at home? Mashiro: That kind of thing’s only fun because it’s at the arcade. By the way, I’m really good at claw machines. Kurono: You like stuffed animals? That’s unexpected. Mashiro: Of course not. Haiji: He gives them to girls after he wins them. Akane: Ah—Kurono, stay. Stay.

Q2. If you could switch places with a member for one day, who would you choose?

Akane: Tsugumi. Tsugumi: Why me?! Akane: I dunno, it just seems like it’d be fun. Tsugumi: I’d never* want to be you, out of all people! Toki: Ah—yeah, same here, kind of… Hibari: I get it. I wouldn’t want to either. Akane: Why!? Why does everyone hate me so much? Mitsuru: I don’t hate the idea of being Akane, but if I had to choose, I’d want to be Tanaka-san. Toki: Mitsuru—Tanaka-san isn’t one of the members. Mashiro: I’d like to be Akane-chan. He’s got this insane all-rounder aura. Kurono: You got a death wish or something? Mashiro: Wait, what?! Why!? Haiji: Umm… Kurono-san, have you ever thought about being Akane-san? Kurono: No way. There’s no way I could handle that. Akane: That answer’s too real… and way too heavy. Haiji: As for me… let’s see. I think I’d like to be Hibari-kun. Hibari: Huh? Why me? Haiji: I want to know how different it feels when you’re the one playing the drums. Hibari: Ahh… I’m kind of curious about that too, actually. Toki: In that sense, I might pick Kurono-san. Kurono: Yeah, it’d probably be fun switching with someone in the same position. Akane: See? They get it. Tsugumi: I still refuse! Absolutely not!

Q3. Who’s the best at drawing, and who’s the worst?

Tsugumi: Definitely Hibari when it comes to having a sense of style! Akane: Huh? Toki: Back in our indie days, he did most of our flyers and merch designs. Hibari: I only did the designs. I can’t really draw actual pictures. For little illustrations and logos, Mitsuru and Tsugu-chan are better. Mitsuru: I’m not amazing at it, but I enjoy drawing, so I like it. Tsugumi: Me too—! Mashiro: Indie bands need to be able to do things themselves. That’s a strength. Toki: Honestly, it helped us a lot. Haiji: That’s so nice. I’d love to see them! Mashiro: Come to think of it, Haiji’s pretty good at mascots and stuff, right? Haiji: Ah, yeah. Just small doodles like that. Akane: Kurono used to draw landscapes and even won a prize or something. Haiji: Wow, seriously!? Kurono: Yeah, that was back in elementary or maybe middle school. I don’t draw at all nowadays. Mashiro: I wasn’t bad in school either, but I haven’t drawn anything in forever. Kurono: Back in RUBIA, we often used photos that Akane-san took. Akane: Explaining the concept every time was a hassle, so that was easier. Haiji: But you still write the project proposals, right? Akane: Yeah—like rough concepts for album themes or live show setups. But just so you know, I can’t draw. Mashiro: Oh please. I bet you’d pull it off effortlessly anyway. Akane: Do I look like the type who pretends to be humble? Mashiro: What do you think, Kurono? Kurono: …Akane-san’s drawings are… extremely unique. Mashiro: Wait, why are you avoiding eye contact!? Tsugumi: So you're bad at drawing!? Akane: As long as the idea gets across, it’s fine. It’s not like I’m trying to be a pro artist. Toki: That’s true! Mashiro: …Wait, does that mean— Hibari: Uh, sorry. Let’s not dig into that, okay?

Q4. What’s your favorite food?

Toki: Tsugu likes meat and cup ramen. Tsugumi: That’s not all! I like curry, pizza, and hamburgers too! Hibari: What about you, Toki? Toki: …Gyoza, maybe? Tsugumi: Oh, Toki’s homemade gyoza is delicious. He’s really good at shaping them too. What about you, Mitsuru? Mitsuru: I like pretty much everything, but when I say I like cilantro, a lot of people make weird faces. Hibari likes fruit, right? Hibari: Yeah. If I had to pick one, I’d say shine muscat grapes. Tsugumi: That’s the fancy stuff you sometimes get when you go to Hibari’s place! Toki: The super expensive ones, right… Haiji: You can eat the skin too, and they’re sweet. Lately, I’ve been really into bar snacks. Mashiro: Wasn’t it deep-fried stingray fin? I like smoked pickled daikon. Haiji: Oh, that’s good. Pairs well with wine. Akane: This is turning into a drinking conversation. Mitsuru: What do you like, Akane? Akane: Hmm… if I had to say, sukiyaki. And hamburg steak. Hibari: Seriously? You’ve got such a kid’s palate… Akane: Hey, it tastes good! Kurono: Then let’s have sukiyaki tomorrow. Mashiro: There he goes again, househusband mode. Haiji: Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever heard what Kurono-san likes. Kurono: If it’s something that makes Akane-san happy, then I’ll like it too. Akane: That’s not your favorite food, though. Kurono: I don’t have strong preferences. Just enjoying a meal together makes everything taste better..

Toki: Nicknames, huh… Tsugumi: Isn’t “Toki” already a nickname? Mitsuru: It’s short and easy to say, just two syllables. Toki: Can’t really shorten it either. And no one’s ever made a nickname using my last name. Hibari: Honestly, you seem like someone who wouldn’t get called anything at all. Toki: You’re not one to talk, Hibari. Hibari: I’m not. When I was a kid, I think my relatives might’ve called me “Hi-kun” sometimes. Mitsuru: I get “Mitsu-kun” every now and then. Hibari: Fans do call you that occasionally. Mashiro: Doesn’t Haiji get called “Hai-chan” by fans? Haiji: Ah, yeah. Sometimes! It sounds cute, so it’s a bit embarrassing, but I’m happy if it means they feel closer to me. Tsugumi: I guess I get “Tsugu-chan” or “Tsugu-kun” and stuff like that— Akane: Chick. Tsugumi: You’re the only one who calls me that!! Akane: Huh? No way. Tsugumi: Don’t make me out to be a liar. Mashiro: I don’t feel like Akane-chan has any weird nicknames either. Akane: Like how you call me “Your Highness”? Mashiro: Ahh… well, sometimes. Though I wasn’t the first to call you that. Didn’t it start with a magazine headline or something? Toki: Yeah, sounds like something you’d see in an article title. Like “The King of RUBIA Leopard.” Akane: Come to think of it, only Mashiro calls me “Akane-chan” now. Aside from when we were kids. Haiji: Mashiro-san changes how he addresses people depending on his mood. But only for Akane-san. Mashiro: Ah—now that you mention it, yeah. Wonder why? Kurono: You’re shameless. Mashiro: Well, he’s never complained, so it’s fine. Kurono: Don’t act so familiar. You’re not even family… Hibari: Wait… does that mean his family calls him “Akane-chan”?
