The month view shows a wider easing, as Butyl Rubber was at Rs 360/kg around one month earlier. This places the current level Rs 21/kg lower on a monthly basis. Even so, the market remains comfortably above Rs 312/kg three months ago and Rs 202/kg six months earlier. It is also stronger than the Rs 258/kg level recorded during the same period last year. Indian Butyl Rubber prices have moved away from the recent high around Rs 375/kg, while support remains near Rs 198/kg. The product declined by Rs 1.00/kg from the previous week and has dropped by Rs 4.00/kg over the past fortnight. Indian Stearic Acid prices still remain higher than earlier medium-term levels, with a Rs 18.00/kg gain compared with three months ago. The latest movement shows short-term softness within a market that has otherwise improved from earlier lows.

The one-month comparison shows a Rs 2.00/kg gain, indicating a modest recovery despite the recent weekly decline. Over six months, Stearic Acid has increased by Rs 22.00/kg, reinforcing the broader positive direction. The recent year’s range includes a high of Rs 145.00/kg and a low of Rs 112.00/kg, giving procurement teams a clear view of the wider trading band. Stearic Acid prices in India are currently being monitored around Rs 140.00/kg on the high side and Rs 120.00/kg on the low side. Carbon Black N220 prices in India also remain firmer on a yearly basis compared with the same period last year, reinforcing the stronger long-term market structure. Recent sessions displayed moderately higher volatility than earlier periods, although daily movements largely remained within a controlled range instead of showing extreme fluctuations.
