im glad you're this positive but how do you do it. whats ur secret to being so wonderfully positive. its infectious.
The thing I strive for, and trust me I miss the mark constantly, is to never let my passion for canon override the importance of another human being.
Does the story make someone feel isolated and even rejected by Halo 5 based on how it treats characters heavily coded in mental illness? That’s valid. That’s absolutely valid. I will respect that.
Does the story connect with someone emotionally, did it give them a thrill, did it make them feel at home and loved? That’s valid. That’s absolutely valid. I will respect that.
Regardless of the origin of both my saltiness and glee, what ultimately matters about Halo, when we get down to brass tacks, is that we are dealing with people. The fandom. The developers. The haters. The lovers. Those who could care less. People.
And people will always be more important than Halo.
