Vex experienced a...traumatic incident as a progeny that resulted in his body-wide Lichtenberg scar, he’s mostly come to terms with it being on his body, but will cut your throat if you try to touch or look at the point of entry just behind his left ear there.

Family: Snazz’s father Jullez was always bed-ridden when Snazz was young, but nonetheless Jullez made every effort to spend time with Snazz and teach him what he could. His mother Kulli owned a small bakery, she used the funds from it on research and possible cures for Jullez’s condition. Snazz lost both of them and had to raise his younger sister Forcas on his own, the two of them are very close.

📚 Backstory 📚

Childhood: Snazz grew up in a very loving home. While his father Jullez was bed-ridden a majority of the time, he doted on Snazz and his little sister Forcas as much as he could. Snazz and Forcas spent a lot of time in their father’s room hanging out with him and listening to stories he told them. When they weren’t there they were helping their mother Kulli out baking pastries for her bakery. Both his parents recognized Snazz’s natural talent for magic, and got him a tutor as soon as they could. One day when Snazz was around 5 years old his parents went to see some peers about a possible cure for Jullez’s condition, leaving Snazz and Forcas in the care of a parental golem unit. They never returned, instead a group of Inquest came back, trying to convince Snazz and Forcas to go with them and that something had gone wrong. Snazz had a bad feeling that bad intentions were afoot, and challenged what the Inquest had told them. Through their bickering the Inquest let details slip and Snazz became convinced his parents had both perished. Snazz used what little magic he’d learned to scare the Inquest off. Before they could come back with reinforcements Snazz collected what he could from their home (food, books, his father’s journals, and some small devices) and bolted with Forcas in-tow, the parental golem unit following behind them. 

Adolescence: From his childhood through to his adolescence Snazz traveled with his little sister Forcas, raising her to the best of his ability, and having a parental golem unit around helped. He got some help from friendly travelers, and at a point he and Forcas ran into a friendly elderly couple who specialized in tutoring progeny—and allowed the two to stay with them for a short period while they caught them up on education they’d missed out on.

Young Adulthood: By the time Snazz was reaching young adulthood Forcas was starting to become more independent, and wanted to start her own path in life. While Snazz was horribly saddened, he did everything he could to help her find what she needed to take on the world.

Adulthood: After going their separate ways Snazz took to wandering, not really sure what to do now that his sister could take care of herself. He took to traveling to keep his mind busy, visited old friends, made new ones, and used his magic to spread wonder everywhere he went.
