Megaman would be non-binary, but he doesn't know that's an option yet. Also complicating matters is that he heavily internalized Light's opinions on gendered roles.

Megaman has always wanted a brotherly connection with rs!Proto, but believes it impossible as long as Protoman fights on the side of evil. When he discovers that pm!Proto isn't actually interested in being evil and taking over the world, he projects a lot of that longing onto pm!Proto instead. Megaman considers pm!Proto to be a much better big brother than rs!Proto.

There's a lot of moments of jealousy from both Megamen tbh. rs!Mega learns a lot of rs!Proto's softer moments because of Megs, which definitely creates surges of envy (why won't my brother be that soft with ME) but it's always overshadowed by Protoman's bond with Wily. Mega will always refuse to actually bond with Proto as long as he's un-apologetically a "bad bot".

Mega unfortunately also has to contend with Megs trying to bond with pm!Proto, later on.

Mega's misogyny has significantly lessened through the years because of his sister, and he's proud of her and what she's capable of. He's still very protective of her, which sometimes causes sparks to fly, but at the end of the day, they're very close siblings. Roll sometimes teaches him things she's learned, and Mega shares his own interests with his sister.

Mega has low empathy, and struggles to actually consider alternate points of view, or others' feelings.
