Deadstop leg press: If you're a masochist like me and like new ways to torture yourself during training sessions try out this leg press variation. * Set the safety pins in the leg press where you feel most comfortable. Don't cheat and get those knees close to your titties * Lower the weight to the saftey pins with a 4 second descent. * Once on the safety pins and " rest" for 1 second but keep your quads contracted. * Now explode! Push the weight up as fast as possible. Start off with 1 plate on each side and keep going up until getting 8 reps becomes difficult. Leave your ego at the door, you won't be able to go crazy with the weight here. But keep the intensity up!
