It’s an early summer poetry free-for-all! Bring us your slam poetry, embarrass your lover with endless haiku, settle a score with an old-fashioned Ishgardian hymn battle! 

Acoustic performances, acapella, throat singing and performances of the like are all welcome!

Dear @luckysparrowffxiv,

I saw your recent Mischievous Mutiny poster and thought the art was really good, so I decided to try to make time to go. Now, I play on Mateus server; I had a level 1 alt I made on Balmung on a rare moment the server was open and promptly didn’t think about again. In a matter of hours today, I leveled him up to 16 just so I could come see your show.

I’m interested in performance arts RP because I’m in a troupe in WoW - the Succulent Tart troupe on Wyrmrest Accord. I’m used to how an RP show runs and what it looks like.

Y’all blew me away. From the very start, there was a five-man coordinated dance number. There was the cutest pink cat boy I have ever seen. There was a rock duo. There was a girl power band. There was a woman who made me question my sexuality. Y’all turned all my expectations up to eleven.

I’m so glad I braved my shyness and went to see this. I may not have been brave enough to RP much, but I loved all the hard work you put into your shows - and I lost count of the times I said “how did they do that?” at my screen.

Thank you so much for such an entertaining evening.

🌟When: April 17th 9:30 EDT (Doors open at 9 EDT!)

🌟How it’s going to work: Performers of all kinds from all over the realm are invited to perform on the Rubato Lounge Stage!

🌟Sign-ups will open when our doors open at 9 EDT day of show

🌟Performers will forward their song link to Popito Popoto on the night of.

🌟All performances are welcome, from songs to dances to poetry readings, storytelling, magic… Sky’s the limit! (but keep it PG-13!)

🌟 We will be running on NPC staff this night so everyone can enjoy the show. Thank you!

... another show’s all rounded up and over. We’re all sore and tired and didn’t quite crawl out of bed in time for breakfast- but that can’t take away the magic of having had you all here, with us, cheering us on and giving us all of your love and support. Yet again, thank you for coming, for being part of this experience. We’re grateful we’re able to share it with you all, times and times again.

The evening started off right; we sure tossed some logs on the fire with some choice tree puns. We danced, we sung together, solved the mystery of the Mullberry wine and... discovered we apparently had some amazing latent resurrective powers...? Yup. Just your regular root-ine show here, at the Lucky Sparrow... Anyone? No? Okay, ahem-

We’ve had our lovely photographer @syerraffxiv up in action, so we’ll be posting soon plenty pictures of the show, of the staff and guests too, to tag your friends with if you spot them!
