12. Favorite place?Currently, Duluth. One of my best friends lives there and I try to visit once per year, but I can’t afford it this year. It’s so pretty up there.

18. Hair color?Naturally brunette, currently a weird mixture of brunette/turquoise/black because everything faded… I think my hair is resistant to dye now…

25. My relationship with my parents.Could definitely be better. I have a good one with my mom but it’s a little shaky because she’s always in the middle of my dad’s and my fights. He and I have very different views and values and he can be a little emotionally abusive, though she refuses to see it, so I tend to avoid him and have trouble getting along and he makes me furious with a lot of the things he says (hateful toward gays, hateful toward anyone acting like a civil human being…)

26. Favorite holidayChristmas! I love the atmosphere of Christmas, with the baking, snow, trees, etc. Though family-time is always a little stressful

27. Tattoos and piercing I haveNo tattoos, but lip piercing, two in each lobe, conch on each side, and left cartilage (used to be right also but I was young and stupid and got gun-pierced (never do that) and so it never healed properly and I finally just got fed up and took it out)

31. How long does it take me to get ready in the morningAnywhere from 10-15 minutes to an hour, depending upon where I’m going. I can get things done really quickly but on weekends if it’s a special place I do the whole actually getting breakfast/coffee thing while I’m doing the rest, so it takes longer.

34. If I were drunk & couldn’t stand, who’s taking care of me?This is an unlikely scenario, but probably Jordan or Sherri or my bf

35. Do I like my music loud or at a reasonable level?SINGING LEVEL :D Loud in the car, just below ear-hurting level. When I’m drawing, just barely loud enough to sing to it and have my voice masked if my parents are near (mainly cause dad would mock me whether I sounded good or not)

36. Do I live with my Mom and Dad?Unfortunately. I don’t make enough money to get out yet. :s Student loans ruin lives.

37. Am I excited for anything?If I can afford it, I’m going to California to visit my bf for a little over a week for Thanksgiving/my birthday.

39. What is something I disliked about today?How I got just as much sleep as the previous night but was like 5x more tired

42. What’s my strangest talent?I can bark convincingly and damn near perfectly like a dog.

43. Do I have any strange phobias?I”m afraid of tall buildings because someone told me they sway in the wind, and I’ve had many nightmares about it

44. Do I prefer to be behind the camera or in front of it?I have done a bit of modeling and it was fun, but probably behind it - I prefer to know when I’m getting my picture taken so I’d rather take the pics of other things.

45. What was the last lie I told?….I…don’t remember…? I tend to avoid lying as much as possible.

46. Do I prefer talking on the phone or video chatting online?Skype call, no video. I don’t have to hold the damn phone, it’s easier to ear the other person (I have a hell of a time understanding people over phones, I don’t know why), and I’m usually talking while doing something else so what’s the point of having a video when you’re not looking at the other person?

48. What’s the weather like right now?Sunny-ish, not overly warm. Probably a perfect day. I can’t see the window from here q___q I’ll know soon when I take a walk on my lunch.

53. Do I spend money or save it?I try to save it, but something always comes up ._. Bills, the need to eat, the occasional “I need to do something fun or I’m going to go fucking crazy” so I go to the bookstore or to Duluth, or buy art supplies… Not as often as I’d like *^*

97. Was I named after anyone?My parents wanted an original name, so they took from my mom’s favorite book series at the time, “Clan of the Cave Bear”. The main character’s name was Ayla, so they added a K, thinking they were original. They were not.

98. Do I like my handwriting?My handwriting is excellent when I write SMALL. If I’m writing large, it’s a trainwreck.

99. Where do I want to live when I’m older?Seattle, or near some other nice, larger city with a moderate temperature - but OUTSIDE the city, in a cheaper area.

100. Play any musical instrument?I played the saxophone, can play a tiiiny bit of guitar, and I can make vague noises on some others like flute & trumpet :D

102. Am I afraid of the dark?If I think anything related to ghosts or something that will get me in the dark, yes. I will run toward the light.

103. Am I afraid of heights?If there is a fear of falling off, yes. Being near a mountain cliff edge, or on high buildings with railings with a drop on the other side… but not on rollercoasters and stuff like that.

106. What my greatest achievements are.Graduating a pretty difficult private art school (and getting into it in the first place), and making and keeping great friends

108. What I’d do if I won the lottery.Pay off my school loans & car (or exchange my car for a “newer” one, but not new), pay off my parents’ debt and help them either move or fix up their home, move to the area I’d like to live in, an dkeep the rest in savings.
