Sit down, honeybuns. This is gonna be a while.
So a few days ago I remembered ‘Oh shit! I haven’t posted the pictures from the RWBY photoshoot to my RWBY hiatus blog like I said I would!’ So I went and uploaded the photos and upon uploading them I found pictures of a Sun Wukong cosplayer who had pretty good cosplay and was a bit attractive.
So after I uploaded the pictures onto my blog I figured, ‘Y’know, I’m gonna put up the pictures of the attractive Sun cosplayer on my personal blog.’ I wasn’t even expecting it to get any notes, but it ended up getting over a hundred within two days. Some were from friends on here and some were from irl friends asking ‘Sarah wtf’ and shit like that. I even reblogged it from someone else and made a pun and joked about it. And eventually the Sun cosplayer found the photos.
It was embarrassing at first knowing I was found creepin’ on the internet about a dude, but he was really cool about it. His girlfriend was really cool about it too. They even offered to show me more pictures of his cosplay since I liked it. And I figured ‘hey why not? They’re cool about so I suppose it’s okay.’ We talked back a forth a bit and I reblogged a post with more of his pictures. It was okay.
Since then they’ve both been sending me messages, both on and off anon, saying that I should follow them and look at more pictures. It’s getting a bit uncomfortable and feels like I’m being pressured. I don’t want to follow them and I really don’t want to see anymore pictures of their cosplay. It feels like they’re trying to convert me into a fangirl or something, I can appreciate a good cosplay and people I can find attractive. I can’t appreciate people taking that appreciation and trying to make me a fangirl.
I don’t know if this is their intention or not. For all I know this could be their trying to include me in something they enjoy and I’m overreacting. But either way I am getting really uncomfortable with the frequent messages and implied pressure and I just really want it to stop. So I’m turning off anon for a while to manage my asks a while. If it keeps up I may end up just turning off my ask for a while. Hopefully it won’t come to that. (UAU)=3
