#StPetersEasternHill The interior has hardly changed since the 1920s. The original nave construction included timbers from an 1840s shipwreck. It is Anglican High Church (Anglo-Catholic) and rich in artwork & woodwork, including the 1848 Australian cedar pulpit, a lectern by Robert Prenzel (who did the amazing Trinity College Chapel carvings) and the 2006 Iconostasis. The Venetian mosaic above the high altar was bought at the 1880 Great Exhibition in the #RoyalExhibtionBuilding.
