Assassin’s Quest Book 3 of The Farseer Trilogy written by Robin Hobb I’ve just finished reading Royal Assassin and my plan originally was to read a few other books, then return to The Wheel of Time before then reading the third book of The Farseer Trilogy. Bollox to it. I’m diving straight back into the Six Duchies. I really enjoyed Royal Assassin. Robin Hobb is so good at writing stories that are full of juicy characters, that you love, you hate, frustrate you and intrigue you. These books mainly centre around Fitz but I cannot wait to soon move on to Hobb’s other trilogies, especially The Fools Trilogy. But I’ll read them in order. So the Liveships Trilogy will be next. Both Robin Hobb and Robert Jordan are great storytellers but so different that reading the books in between each other is not confusing and no hardship. Here we go …… on a Quest. I do try to control my book spending but when eBay & World of Books conspire together and send you the wrong cover for the third in a trilogy then what can I do? Book two! ⚔️ You guys really weren’t lying when you said these books make addictive reading. Instantly had to start this one the second I finished book one. Fitz is so lovable, but I really appreciate that the people around him always call him out when he starts behaving stupidly. Every character in the series seems to have really intriguing layers to them. No one is quite what they first seem.
