Day Three Hundred and Forty
Today was a dream come true!!!!! Today I ate at none other than.....Cinderella's Castle!!!
The waiting list to get reservations at the Royal Table is very long so I thought I'd never get to go but Sophie and Lauren had booked some and invited me!!!
We got Kel the taxi driver to take us to Magic Kingdom as we were all running a little bit late. We walked straight down Main St USA and to the Castle!!! It was all so exciting! We checked in and the lady took us inside where we lined up to see Cinderella!!! That's right the meal includes a print out picture with Cinders. Amazing. We had pre-paid and it was $65 for a 3 course dinner, pictures with Cinderella, included grat and we got to meet all of the other princesses too! Definitely worth it. After the picture with Cinderella we are taken upstairs. The seater sat us down and gave us a wand each and a 'wishing star'. Because this restaurant is more for families the menu was nice and simple, perfect for me!!! I had salad to start, BBQ pork sandwich and an incredible white chocolate moose/cake dessert in the shape of a clock (pic to come!) Our table was amazingly situated too with a window overlooking Fantasyland (the carousel to be specific). Sophie and I knew we were going soon and hadn't heard anything about our extensions so we were treating everything like it's our last time.
I enjoyed the food (perfect for families with kids), loved the company too but I've got to say, I found the character dining very awkward!!! Just didn't know what to say!! We got pictures and hoped the princesses would move onto the next table pronto! Lauren was a natural though as Ariel was talking to her about the seas. Into our meals we were told to make a wish with our wishing stars and use our wands etc. It was VERY magical for kids, they would love this. Then came dessert...THE best part...just check out the pics. Sophie and Lauren then headed to Sea World and I waited for Simon who came to Magic Kingdom after work. We had a Starbucks in the brand new Starbucks on Main St and we went on Dumbo and had Dumbo cupcakes :D! Great day.
