where would be a good site to get one of these guys ?

Well, the answer to that is it depends where you’re based but the truth is, these guys are not all that common. In fact, the mother who was the same morph visually (no recessive axanthic) was a world’s first (and the only one in the clutch) just a few years ago so there’s probably still not that many of these around honestly. 

I don’t know that anyone has explicitly produced the animal carrying the axanthic gene also if that’s something that interests you.

Why thank you kind stranger. Here is a photo of her glowing in the last photoshoot I had before she laid. As you can see, she is also a most beauteous axanthic though, not every photo demonstrates that too well.

Paying particular attention to the heads, the contrast in this girl at the moment should hopefully be obvious as it's extremely hard to catch on camera without bothering her too much.

The blue background was taken in July, post shed. The black background was taken tonight. She is extremely light at the moment and in person, the difference is staggering!

"They Glow Before They Go" as they say and this girl has been paired exclusively with our axanthic mojave, poss het hypo boy.

People who follow this blog who specifically want to breed for money need to understand that I have no interest in helping them.

If someone says they breed, I have an open mind. If  people want tips on “how to get into breeding”, my answer is, “Don’t get into breeding. Get into keeping snakes. That’s the hobby you should care about. If you don’t care about keeping snakes, you shouldn’t be breeding them.”

People who ask others what they should breed/buy next, in my opinion, either do not have enough knowledge to think about breeding or don’t have the passion they claim to. The answer to the question should ALWAYS be ‘something that -you- want’, so if you’re asking, you either don’t know enough about what you’re looking for to selectively breed appropriately, so you sure as hell shouldn’t be breeding or there’s nothing you actually want/want to produce so, what’s your motive for breeding? It isn’t for the love of keeping them or it wouldn’t matter what you bred and it isn’t for reaching a specific breeding goal…So, yes, this often leaves the conclusion “Money.”.I’ve been doing this a long time. Motivations are always there and they’re often misguided.

You’ll note that our last response, in summary was “If what you want is money, forget it. We won’t help you. If what you want is advice, how are we supposed to know what you like? If you don’t know what you like/want, don’t breed”

If you want to breed ANY animal and you are depending on the sale of offspring to maintain keeping the ones you have, you’re going to be very poor, very fast and you’re probably going to sell on those animals quicker than you can count them.

I genuinely don’t care how many people breed for money. If you’re one of them or thinking about becoming one and you’re looking for PROBREEDINGTIPSHOWDOIGETINTOTHIS, you’re barking up the wrong tree because you won’t find any help here.

Independant research. Passion. If you have those, you don’t need to ask “What should I buy to breed?”
