Not much to say re: twin drama; it's true that Jimmy shouldn't have put Jey in that position when Jey had his contendership match coming up. I'm actually very excited for where they seem to be going with Jimmy's character development, and the oracle's prediction remains steadfast

I loved Lyra and Bayley's matching fits. They do make a pretty interesting tag team. I love how "ok I guess this is happening then" Lyra is, and how all sides of Bayley have taken to her. And of course my beloved Roxyquel as hot and evil and mean as always, very chef's kiss

My stomach fell to my knees after that Seth segment. Not just the very blatant foreshadowing in Seth's speech, but the way Bron reacted (or rather, didn't react) to it. He's so tired of playing along with everyone's bullshit

So very happy for Maxxine to get that title shot. And the you deserve it chants! It would be wild for the IC title to stop by her before going home to AJ Lee, but it doesn't feel 100% impossible. Wonder if Jess will ref again lol

I love Stephanie and Stephanie's 'fit so much. I am DELIGHTED that Raquel interrupted in Spanish and that evil babygirl is going for the title. Especially because Kabukis vs Rhiyo need the breathing room away from the belt and/or towards the tag belts.

I was only half-watching the thriple threat tbh. On acount of the dread. If the title shot came down to who gave the best performance, it'd have gone to LA Knight. But of course torturing Seth takes priority.

I am so pleasantly surprised at how this turned out and how early it's happening. People were predicting buildup to WM43 for it. I'm especially happy that they didn't chose Paul, that was my biggest fear. They chose themselves and each other and Paul is their lackey now

And my G-d, I'm so happy for Bronson. He got to have this big plot moment in his hometown crowd

Punk "running it back" was pretty funny. Otherwise his stocks have been tanking with me. I don't like this condescending older brother vibe he's been bringing in to Jey p much from the moment Sami left, and he's the least interesting storytelling option for winning the title. Need him getting on his knees for his wife in public again.

Yeah Punk can cut a good promo but I was quite happy with how cleanly Jey undercut his narrative. He held his own and his eyes were beautiful - full babygirl "do it scared" mode. I'm satisfied. Penta vs Rusev was a fucking banger. Intense and hard-hitting and it really made me appreciate Rusev's selling. I'm not mad about the ending, always happy to see my boy Grande Alemán and the thriple threat is gonna steal the night on Saturday

Bronbron stocks continue to be on the rise! I wish they were real stocks lmao, I could literally be rich right now. I wish Paul hadn't wormed his way back into Bron's graces so easily, ugh. At least Bronson's keeping an eye on things. And groping those tits like it's his job

That said I love what BronBron are doing. Bron showing a hint of uncertainty when he walked in because he's starting to find out that how he's perceived matters is so interesting for him. Bronson talking about how he don't need to interfere bc Bron got it but then Bron took that nasty bump off the turnbuckle (hope it was planned, it looked scary) and not two minutes later Bronson's trying to rush in. I liked how Bron refused both the ref and Paul lifting his hand until Bronson was also there doing it

Jey waiting for Jimmy sitting on a crate like that reminded me of Sami so much I'M FINE

Incredibly proud of Jey for that one. He does seem to be making through and it's making me disproportionately hopeful about him winning on Saturday. Something heartbreaking about how Jimmy came in to try to take some weight off Jey's back and ended up needing to be told to stop adding to it

voted "least likely to be finished" by the people currently trying to will the samilja fic into existence, this fic came about because i wrote some random tag along the lines of "if i wrote the kinks was actually into it'd be all daddy dyke anal femslash lmao" and then i was like... what's stopping you tho. so i set up to write the single most self-serving fic possible, featuring not only the aforementioned daddy dyke anal femslash feat. my wife Raquel Rodriguez, but also several lowkey untranslatable Implications about their dynamic in the Spanish dialogue AND a bit of heritage speaker feels AND "realistic sex" comedy shenanigans. then Liv came back and the world started revolving around her again and it took all the wind out of this fic's sails 😭
