fuck me,,, ive had to restart this post three times how do i deal with my own overpowering emotions?? tumblr decided it needed to close this tab the first time, then the second time chrome broke so here i am for try 3

alan stays away from things if hir emotions are too strong. x knows to call hir out of classes for the day. xe's got a sort of deal with the office so as long as hir gpa is super high it doesnt matter how much class xe misses. xe used to get panic attacks but doesnt much anymore

mel cries. a lot. they often excuse themselves and go lock themself in a bathroom or smth and cry. they mute their voice so no one hears. gotta keep that cool facade. they dry off their eyes and move on. no one is any wiser. x has usually caught them crying in the costume closet when stuff like this happens. its okay. mel also cries when they're happy. if they laugh too hard they cry. they cry a lot. 

x usually can catch her emotions before they hit her, so she's an expert at self care. the only one that sneaks up on her is tfw dysphoria.  that can wreck her whole day because she can't even get out of bed on those days (an exaggeration but the meaning is there). she'll ask alan if xe wants a ride to school, then call in a substitute.Alan usually stays home with her on these days :')

christopher (who was left out of the last ask on accident but also because he's six hours old and therefore this is his childhood). has!! a lot!! of Emotions!! he's very animated about everything, and has no sort of shame or whatever if he gets too worked up in front of others. gets labeled a drama queen a lot, but he'll break down and grab at people for hugs. likes the support of others.

lex uses controlled substances responsibly. fae, particularly wixen, tend to have a higher tolerance for toxins than humans, so it takes a lot to get to them anyways. she gets nervous in situations a lot, and excuses herself to go smoke. she's an angry-sad type of person. if she's angry, she'll cry and be sad alongside it. if she's sad, she'll yell and blow out lightbulbs with excess energy.
