I am the Thane of Rot.

My way is simple: reject the flesh in its entirety. The other factions, the other Thanes even, yearn for greatness but cling to the masses of meat knitted to their forms. My original glorious project was to salvage the otherwise-useless flesh of Phyrexia to create a new sphere, on which flesh was fit only to walk on. I was... involuntarily inactive for a period of many cycles, and when I reawakened, my project had been quite appropriated by that whispering pretender Sheoldred. An indignity! One I will tolerate, for now.

As far as I can tell, you, as a Thane, were killed because you spoke the wrong words to a cube, and then were reanimated by Sheoldred to directly serve her. How did you reattain the political height of a Thane?

Things do not stay dead in the Dross unless they are flesh-covered filth like yourself, and I am well-versed in climbing high. The traitor Sheoldred is no friend of mine.
