The Dusky Hopping Mouse (Notomys Fuscus), is one very cool Australian rodent. But like many Australian animals, loss of habitat and predation from introduced species has, sadly seen a decline.
Here’s an interesting fact:
Although classified as vulnerable it is 40 times more likely to survive with the presence of the Dingo.
Why so? Dingoes keep feral populations in check. Thumbs up for the Dingo.
