rowan bonner (her names rlly silly im so sorry) is an exorcist??? kind of???

her family's been in the exorcism business since like forever really and they're really good at what they do but rowannnn not so much

see like there's this sixth sense that runs in the bonner's blood that lets them sense and detect being from other planes of existence which kind of helps them do what they do and do it well but rowan was one of the few members of the family born without it? okay kind of like

imagine that the bonner's are a wizarding family from like harry potter or some shit. she'd be considered a squib i think?? yeah im sorry thats the only way i know how to put it

rowan actually *wasn't* supposed to take on the family business, that was supposed to be her brother's deal. the eldest is always the one to take on the job, but well he kind of died in a car crash so he couldn't take on shit, which is why it went to rowan (quite a few people were against it but well she didn't have any other siblings and her dad was getting old so it was her or bust). her brother didn't pass on to the next life, and he wasn't really being a problem or bothering anyone (if he was he would've had to have been exorcised), so he follows rowan around.

rowan's at heart a pretty nice girl and she means well, but she's insanely unprofessional and really honestly doesn't know how to do her job. she doesn't think about anything and never really takes anyone's feelings into consideration, so she's like the last person suited for this job tbh. her brother tries to act like her guide and conscience but she yeah doesn't listen gomen she's a little shit. yuy

to be honest i don't really have a lot going on for her right now because she's a new character and i'm trying to get a feel for her so this whole deal right here could change at any point in time js
