1. i love yorkshire puddings above all other foods
2. when i was 2 i memorized the whole of a my little pony annual and terrified my auntie who thought i’d somehow learnt how to read
3. i used to have two guinea pigs called dusty and mopet (a clumsy five year old attempt at a pun — ‘dusty’ and ‘mop it’)
4. when i was four i spelt ‘rhyl’ as ‘ril’ on a piece of school work and i knew i’d spelt it wrong but didn’t know how to correct it and hovered in a state of despair for ten minutes until a teacher noticed and corrected it
5. i taught a group of boys in my primary school how to do joined up writing
6. i had blood taken once, and the nurses made me look at a where’s wally book. after they’d drawn the blood and left me in tremendous pain, one of them asked (i kid you not): ‘have you found him yet?’
7. i had general anaesthetic for the first (and only) time to take some teeth out, and before the anaesthetist gave me the dose, he checked my pulse and said: ‘wow, it’s a bit high. are you nervous about something’ -_-
8. baz luhrmann’s romeo+juliet is one of my favourite films and i got really angry when i read a critical essay about mercutio which said that film!mercutio didn’t count as a ‘real’ portrayal of the character
9. i currently have a 2000 production of jesus christ superstar saved in my watch later folder on youtube and i love it, but my catholic upbringing won’t let me read jesus/judas fic no matter how much i ship them
10. i currently have 82,503 things in my likes and have somehow managed to cut the number of blogs i follow down to a little under 700
