Touched on it a bit in the last, but Stauvv joined when he was without any prospects and desperate. Probably was approached by a classmate who knew a bit about his troubles and was offered a position.

5. How do they feel about the morally questionable goings-on in the Inquest?
Stauvv doesn't reallyyy care. Sometimes he watches something like wow this is fucked up, but he's not gonna stick his neck out over it.
Krill also doesn't really care, its really hard to faze this guy im gonna be so real. He is louder than Stauvv about things he disagrees with, though, which has gotten him in hot water many times. He ends up leaving, but only because he pissed too many people off.
Roussi is a nice girl at heart, she is just overzealous about her research. I don't think she completely understood what she was getting into when she joined, so a lot of things took her by surprise in the beginning. It was only during HoT that she realized how harmful her research was and she ended up having a change of heart and career.
