Astor’s voice has a gritted edge from far too much drink as he sets down his cup and pulls his lover upon his lap, hands claiming each hip for his own.

A lemonade and cheeseburger, from a place he'd noted Kurama ordering from before, timed well enough to still be cool and hot by the time they were found. A reference to when his boss had approached him with his birthday gift last month. Beside them, however, was a small wrapped box. Inside, a small magnet keychain. More functional than fashionable, but still looking nice enough in ts own right.

Atop it, a sticky note with 'Happy birthday, boss' written upon it.

Kurama didn’t so much enter his office as he did stumble into it. Hours of answering the same questions at the police station and playing dumb while they tried to pin stress and liability on him for an ongoing case. His suit jacket came off first, followed by his briefcase, which he tossed aside without looking to see where it landed. He dropped into his chair and leaned back, eyes closing, settling for a power nap before he got right back to work.

He almost didn't notice the burger at all before the familiar smell caused his stomach to growl, a reminder that he hadn't eaten much all day. He arched an eyebrow and leaned forward, gaze settling on the burger and lemonade sitting on his desk. It was from his favorite diner—the one he only ordered from when he was too tired to keep up his strict diet or pretend he wasn’t above eating somewhere cheap and greasy. He assumed his secretary got it for him.

A soft sigh escaped him, a bit grateful for the gesture he slowly unwrapped the burger and started to take small bites. Then he saw the box and picked it up between two fingers like it might bite, turning it once, twice, scanning for traps that weren’t there before opening it. His jaw tightened as he took out the keychain, dangling it on his finger. His eyes flicked briefly to the sticky note perched beside it. Happy birthday, boss—enough for him to realize the gesture was from Sebastian.

Kurama scoffed softly. ❝ How dare he perceive me. ❞

Sebastian knowing his habits. His favorite diner. Remembering his birthday. That he collected keychains. It was unsettling and confusing in a way he didn’t have a clear label for. Endearing, maybe. Uncomfortable, definitely. Being seen always was.

He finished the burger anyway. Then pettily left the wrapper from the burger and the half drunken lemonade on Sebastian's desk for him to clean up on Monday. The keychain he kept though, making a spot for it among his collection.

Because he was used to life in the city, Kai would often have trouble getting to sleep in Pelican Town. It was so quiet that it almost felt unnatural to him. Tonight was one such night, and he eventually gave up on pacing about his house to go have a smoke and wander around.

As he walked beneath the stars, he lit a cigarette and zipped up his leather jacket. It was a chilly night, especially up in the mountains. At a brisk pace, it didn't take too long until the lake came into view. Under the light of the moon, he realized there was a figure standing near the water. It was Sebastian, one of the few villagers he hadn't met since moving in. He had only heard about him through Sam.

💋Are they more sensual or sexual?

Sensual — but the two can sometimes go hand in hand. Raum is more authentic physically than verbally. If he’s lying with his mouth, then he’s more likely telling the truth with his hands, his eyes, the tilt of his chin. . . all of those other small signals.

This also goes for physicality between him and other people. He uses touch frequently to communicate, to express himself. Whether that leads to sex or not is almost unimportant. In the end, sex for Raum is more of a mental experience — as strange as it might sound, there’s bit of a difference between what feels good physically and what actually turns him on. I would say sensuality is more important.

Going out and doing stuff together. Honestly almost anything is on the table if he feels comfortable enough. But I think something he would really enjoy is exploring somewhere new. Walking or driving around together and finding new things to experience, places to eat at, pointing out things you’ve never seen before and approaching them. It’s rare he gets to experience something fresh like this, he would appreciate it a lot.

Bedroom activity sounds kind of vague but I’m assuming this means sexual activity. Which is like. ?????? Raum likes to have sex. It doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be. Frequently he likes it to be. But at the end of the day, what works for one person won’t for another. This relies heavily on chemistry.

But I suppose I could say, in general — Raum is dominant. He prefers to top. He has sadistic leanings. He likes to take his time, control and manipulate his partner in the bedroom, whether that's through soft or hard methods. On the flip side he also likes things a little rough and wild, he likes to chase someone and hold them down, he likes to be scratched and bitten. It really depends on the chemistry he has with each partner!

Yes — gradually, little by little. He’s not the type that will flip a switch when things become ‘official’ and start calling you his partner. He won’t even push for things to be official in the first place, he’s not that kind of person. But as he grows fond of someone, his bias towards them will become apparent. He is generally more open with them, for good and bad. He will share things about himself with them. They will see emotions and reactions from him that others would not. In general, his partner is like a step above other people — they will feel it, that they have a special position in his eyes, even if he doesn’t necessarily say it.

Catching the glance of another prince, Hibiya jumped on the excuse to look distracted and throw himself into a conversation before he could be pulled in a different direction. Walking over, he grabbed two fresh glasses of whatever alcohol was most convenient. "Hey," he greeted with a forced casualness that he didn't pretend to hide.

Hibiya handed over the spare drink as a peace offering, lowering his voice some. "Forgive me, I'm currently hiding away from gossiping princesses who are dead set on prying into old news. And would appreciate looking busy." It took everything in him to not glance over his shoulder to ensure they were once again kept at bay.

oh goodness, i can absolutely see jason throwing together some ridiculous food combinations, especially when he's just got home from a long ass shift fighting crime and can't be fucked to cook something for himself.

as for what? i can absolutely see him throwing everything in his fridge into a sandwich, doesn't matter what it is. any sauces, ingredients, he doesn't care as long as it's edible at least. for specifics, i'm not sure, but to be honest, i can probably see him liking pineapple on pizza, but he keeps that a well hidden secret. if anyone finds out, they'd better hide or he's coming for them.
