“I think I’m forgetting something.” 

“Well, you sure weren’t about to leave without saying goodbye now, were ya?” Roslin pushed themselves off from the side of the ship that he had guessed belonged to this Juniper girl. Rosy didn’t take too kindly to people skipping out on the bill. Reeve was too lazy, Force’s sake Ros would never say it to his buddy’s face, but his business partner was too lazy and ironically too passive in that regard to care. Get Reeve in a bar fight however and the man could take on a wookie with a good chance of winning (maybe without arms, even so.)

“Ooh, a L.T. no less. Pleasure to met you, Ro. I’m Roslin Kash, business owner of Brightwater and Kash: Augmentation and Droid Repair. I like to do a little cargo work on occasion. Just doing my part,” Ros stuck out his own finely crafted, shiny, augmented arm for her to shake his hand. In fact, all of their limbs were augmented, but the right arm was obviously newer, modified and updated. The others were fine and functional, still good work, but even repaired here and there and perhaps older than herself.

“Oh, such a gentleman.” Ros smiled and carefully moved their metal arms through the sleeves of Poe’s jacket so they could zip it up. It was a little snug, but still fit. He held his arms close, as to not accidentally damage clothes that weren’t his.

“Well, I was flirting.” Roslin gave a shrug, broad shoulders under their shirt that gave way to heavy mechanical arms, perfectly proportional but aesthetically surprising perhaps to the pilot as most people, at least not in Mos Espa, tended to hide their augmented work. He picked up his drink, gesturing to the bar tender to get Poe one more, since he didn’t think this was going to go much of anywhere.

Watching the young woman in front of him, Rosy couldn’t help but smile. She wasn’t someone he knew well but it seemed to him she knew herself well enough. That was a pretty good start. His mechanical arms reached for another bottle, sliding it in front of her and he very delicately touched her hand with metal fingers.

“Honey, it looks like you just did. It’s not as hard as it seems, huh? I tell ya… Talking helps out a lot more than people give it credit. Now, me, I’m a talker, sure, but I’m a very good listener, too. Trust your sweet Rosy, girl, lay it on me….”
