Complimentary to the little memes Karl is not very knowledgeable on food all he ate whilst in the factory was half cooked meats. Ethan is quite good at cooking he started cooking when he became a stay at home husband caring for rosemary as she grew with Mia leaving for work.
Once Ethan realised Karl's situation he took Karl out to fast food places and to supermarkets for him to try knew foods Ethan learnt that Karl had quite the sweet tooth preferring sweet and sour meats over spices or BBQ. Rose liked this too she liked to try different things with Karl especially fruits their favourite both being chocolate dipped strawberries and bananas sweet and healthy yum!

Look, I mostly have no problem with the female characters in the Resident Evil Franchise.
I adore Rebecca Chambers if I am honest.

Mia Winters is a different topic however.
Mostly because she didn't tell Ethan anything and goes missing, still doesn't tell him anything when she finds him and results in a lot of bad things to happen.
And even in RE: Village she still says nothing, and he ends up sacrificing himself for his daughter.
If she had sat him down and was completely honest with him from the start, maybe just maybe he would still be alive.

Another thing that bothers me is how she treats Ethan.
He saved you when he didn't have to because he loves you and somehow he's the problem?

And how she doesn't tell Ethan about his own body, frankly she does everything for herself, to make it easier for herself.
Has a baby with him, despite knowing the danger it could bring.

Ethan deserved the happy ending with Rose, more than anyone else.
