"Realize that you are conscious"
Is there an exercise for this? I don't know how to do it
Theres nothing to do as you are doing it right now. Arent you aware right now? You are aware of your thoughts and environment. But be aware of your own being. That you are not all of these things. For example: you are dreaming and you become lucid, you are aware of your dream AND that it is a dream and that you are aware that it is a dream.
You know you are not the dream character thats just what you are embodying in the dream. And if you want a method or something just meditate, even tho you dont need to, do whatever you want because you are already awareness
To be more precise, people get too immersed in life forgetting that its simply an act, so to be aware is to not identify with it. Stay unaffected with whatever is happening “good” or “bad”, to transcend the illusion of it.
