Auf-leder Eskil Pedersens vakre ord: "Han tok noen av de vakreste rosene våre, men han kan ikke stanse våren."
200 000 mennesker og en blomstereng.
Approximately 150 000 people participated in the rose procession in Oslo this evening. We were too many to walk from the Town Hall Square, so we simply stood there, we sang, and we listened to speeches -- Crown Prince HÃ¥kon, Jens Stoltenberg (prime minister of Nroway), Eskil Pedersen (president of AUF, and the Norwegian Labour Party's youth organisation) made appeals. Afterwards we put our flowers down in Oslo; not just in front of Oslo Cathedral, but everywhere in Oslo. An ambulance team that had been present at the memorial seremony in front of the Town Hall headed towards Youngstorget; we applauded them.
The number of casualties from the massacre on Utøya has ben lowered to 68.
The number of casualties from the explosion in Oslo is 8.
These numbers are still uncertain.
I am so proud
So proud of Norway, this small but proud nation. So proud of all the people. So poud of our prime minister, who has handled this all so well. So proud that we say more openness, more democracy, more love when faced with this horrible act of hate and violence.
Today more than 100,000 people gathered in Oslo to remember the dead and show their support for everyone affected. It was meant to be a march, but there were simply to many people. So instead thousands stood together, listened to speaches, cried, and carried roses in remembrance. In cities all over Norway, both large and small, thousands gathered and marched in memory of the attacks and the victims.
So in all the shock and sadness, more than anything I am proud.
"I dag er gatene fylt av kjærlighet"

According to the police, they have not requested the use of roses in place of torchlights in the torchlight procession in Oslo this evening. Participants are free to bring torchlights if they prefer to do so.
There will be used roses instead of torchlights in the planned torchlight procession in Oslo tomorrow.
