i never do this, but I’m feeling weird and emotional and have decided to subject the world to my emotions, so deal, I guess. Or ignore all of this. It really doesn’t matter. I just feel like talking, but am out of people to talk to at the moment.
As of like an hour ago, I turned in the last assignment I had for my master’s degree and that is it. Like literally. I mean, I still have to get my final grades, but this thing that has consumed my life for the last two years ends and it sort of feels like nothing has happened.
I guess that’s what happens when you have an online master’s program and as a result, have no real connection with the other people in your classes because the people change class to class and semester to semester, but it’s weird that something so big ends with something so small, something I have done countless times over the last two years, pressing a single button to upload a paper.
And there won’t even be a graduation ceremony. There was never going to be one in person because online classes, but they do a virtual one for spring semester graduates, but that’s what I get for deciding to graduate in winter. So, this all sort of feels like nothing, when it should be exciting.
I guess I just feel like this should be a big deal and it doesn’t feel like it is.
Anyway, that’s my totally out of character internet rant, but sometimes ranting to people who, for the most part, don’t know you, is kinda the best thing. So, yeah.
