I suppose this is the place to go to send a message (I'm not great at tumblr) - but I just wanted to give you another CONGRATS, as I'm sure you've been flooded with <3 (and rightfully deserved!) Branded was my first ao3 read, and for years I'd come back to it and reread, over and over again. It was a comfort fic for me, and eventually I got a Tumblr account and followed you here, and discovered TRH, WWDoF, and so many of your other fics as you've published them. Your writing is amazing - and hearing you're getting published is so exciting! I not only can't wait to see the book when it arrives, but it gives me hope one day that I, or maybe even my friends, can get our stories published ❤️, to say the least, you're pretty dang close to an idol for me. Apologies for the long message, but yet again, congrats on the book deal, it's going to be amazing!! Does it feel real yet?

Absolutely, if getting published is your dream then you should pursue it. I dragged my feet for too long in fear, and once I got serious about it, things happened very quickly. There was a period of two weeks over the holidays where I took lots of phone calls and didn't sleep very much, but it's been amazing and I wish I'd done it sooner.
