Glenn’s voice came out in a sort of whisper as he took note of the flicker of emotion in her eyes. It was brief, blink and you missed it, but it was there. He only noticed because he respected those who still had their humanity spite the twists and turns of their turned upside down apocalyptic world. Those people that kept surviving, spite it all, were the ones that Glenn considered the good ones. From what he’d seen so far, she was one of the few remaining. His lips pierced together in a line parallel to his facial hair, Glenn took a step forward towards the much smaller female. He’d never seen hair the shade of hers, almost white against her skin, but it was hard to look anywhere besides directly at the long locks. He cleared his throat before speaking again, his voice echoing against the walls of the room around them.
“I guess what matters more is the person you think you are. If you can’t be that person, then forget the rest of them.”
