Summary: Damian’s sharp temper only worsens when he’s deprived of time with you. After two days without seeing you, he snaps, only for you to give him exactly what he needs.

You and Dick found Damian in the training room, ruthlessly hacking at the practice dummy like it had personally insulted him. His brows were furrowed, his jaw tight, and his movements were sharper than usual. Dick called you over to the manor because you volunteered as tribute to go to a gala with Bruce this afternoon and you and Damian needed to get ready for it.

“What made you so grumpy?” Dick called, leaning against the doorframe.

He froze, sword poised mid-swing, and his head snapped toward you. “I didn’t get my daily dose of them for two fucking days,” he snapped, voice laced with frustration.

Dick raised a brow, fighting a smile. “Huh? Who could possibly be worth that much irritation?”

He dropped the sword, storming toward you with his cape swishing behind him like a thundercloud, his gaze not leaving Dick. “Don’t mock me. Both of you. You know precisely who I mean.”

You tilted your head innocently. “Guess you really did miss me.”

His hands found your waist, pulling you closer with a growl that was more plea than threat. “Two days. It felt like two years.”

Your smirk softened into something warmer as you brushed your lips against his cheek. “Then let’s fix that.”

Damian exhaled shakily, forehead resting against yours, his shoulders finally loosening. “Tt. Don’t ever do that to me again.”

“Miss me that much?” you teased.

His response was instant, low and sincere. “Always."

"Oh my goodness get a room for crying out loud!" Jason cried from the Batcave locker room, sounding rather exasperated, eliciting giggles from you.

I don’t care if it’s only canon in some freaky dream sequence or whatever is going on, but it’s canon.

You know, I always thought it would be Leliana. Even when she was unromanced in my world, I thought she could maybe value the sight of another young love blossoming in front of her eyes, but now that she can possibly see herself and her (at that point soon-to-be) wife in them?

With Arie’s issues around her sexuality being reflected in Dorian’s upbrigning, Arie’s earnest, yet gentle personality showing a little bit in Ray’s demeanor, and Leliana’s own flirtatious-shrewd way of speaking in the both of them… watching leader and not follower, but friend slowly fall for one another must’ve been a particularly nice, this time from the outside.
