#30stones Sometimes you have to wait. And wait. And then wait some more, but when it finally happens it is oh so joyous. We've shared moments of extreme closeness and times without a word - when you move thru life with your head down and simply try to make it. Obviously, the former is better - because you know you need people, but you can't always have close proxemity, and closeness fades when you work odd hours - opposite schedules from the world, so vulnerability and (commun)ication is all the more difficult. We've experienced similar struggles and bonded over them, so... this was a #bigone. An #important one. A #rossandrachel sort of victory. He finally got what he's waited SO LONG for, and what my eyes witnessed was such a #joy! I'm extremely proud. His beginnings brought a twinge of excitement for my life, and for that I'm #grateful. As was spoken in the ceremony: #marriage is not the culmination of love, but the beginning. I pray each step forward is patient, calculated, and full of joy, recognition of what he now holds.
