#30stones Sometimes you have to wait. And wait. And then wait some more, but when it finally happens it is oh so joyous. We've shared moments of extreme closeness and times without a word - when you move thru life with your head down and simply try to make it. Obviously, the former is better - because you know you need people, but you can't always have close proxemity, and closeness fades when you work odd hours - opposite schedules from the world, so vulnerability and (commun)ication is all the more difficult. We've experienced similar struggles and bonded over them, so... this was a #bigone. An #important one. A #rossandrachel sort of victory. He finally got what he's waited SO LONG for, and what my eyes witnessed was such a #joy! I'm extremely proud. His beginnings brought a twinge of excitement for my life, and for that I'm #grateful. As was spoken in the ceremony: #marriage is not the culmination of love, but the beginning. I pray each step forward is patient, calculated, and full of joy, recognition of what he now holds. #30stones picked up unexpectedly -- no way a discounted measure, so grratefully, as acceptance - I'll take it wholeheartedly... or, at least to the best of my failing abilities. It's potentially an #oddshot and not too #original but my view quite opposite of life in the fictional. Life holds contradictions unpredictable. I'm only grounded in moments - small moments, only for a second, held tight on my focus, relentless to stay open. This is the woman whom I have chosen. Physical touch - my need noticed, her approach was slow because insides are broken, even as togetherness was stolen and my outsides were frozen. [[cluttered words started, sentences postponed, ideas spread rapidly go stale, unfinished, and hopeless]] Sometimes moanin' ... but today has shown the beauty of broken. I have said it, this word. More awareness - said the word twice, like a clue in a puzzle my insides unshown are the mess which is broken. Yet, I've got someone solid, willing to witness my rockets in my world of explosions. Peace embraced by her gentle, cautious touch. Warmth spread far, she is a goddess. She gave me the nudge, a treasure to endure whatever is in store, and we can't yet know. And the days haven't been easy, I admit marriage is tough, yet she puts up with my shit and calls out my bluffs. Organized love is foreign and brutal, but she proves to be a candle against darkness truthful. Grounded at the moment when I need her most, as mind and heart - split rapidly ghost, the effect was horrendous as I was tormented. She stood still, a flicker as I fell, a downward spiral - she watched the cracks in my shell. An important place of understanding to witness my hell, let it run course and unwind through my cells. Diagnosis more than knees simply scuffed. Internal comprehension is an ugly trudge. Nay, truth is found in broken, as she stops the rubble with an embrace of warm touch, gentle and caring, a hold on my soul reminds me I'm chosen. We'll take steps slowly, go forward, decompress, as we pick up stones we've needed to collect. I could never hold them alone These moments of weakness time turned may vary, she picks up this stone. Together we carry. #30stones
