#Repost @tomsfeast with @repostapp ・・・ #EatingMindfully: Does the way you think about your food effect nutrition on your body? #RoottoFruitEating * Tonight David @saladpride cooked us a 7 course meal inspired by synesthesia, each course was based on a different colour and chakra and included a scent, vibrant coloured drink and a dish. We were encouraged to think about certain thoughts around the chakras and the feelings those chakras might provoke. It reminded me of a science experiment: several people who were fed their favourite meal. They then received a scientific study to analyse the amount of vitamins and nutrition they received from the meal. A following day they were fed the same meal in a liquid form. The experiment showed that they did not absorb as many nutrients from the liquid meal.
