I'm about to go into work but imagine Feyd-Rautha forcing his wife/partner to learn how to paint him before he goes into battle. Maybe it's bc you said something about the needless deaths he causes before each battle, maybe you flinched when the body hit the floor— all you know is that the day before the next fight, he's at your door.
He's making nasty comments when you mess up, when the paint bleeds and drips. He catching your hand when you try to paint a square too low. I can imagine you'd get fed up at this point, try to throw the brush and tell him to get of your room but he'd catch your face with a gentle violence, his nails digging into your cheeks, his eyes oddly fond as he takes in your struggling, “I had people killed for less." he reminds, pushing the brush back into your hands. The paint is everywhere, on you, on his arms, splattered across both your faces. He lets go of your face and instructs you to begin again, you do so with a shaking hand.
