HE  SHOULDA  KNOCKED  HER  OUT,   got  her  wasted,   something,   because  she’s  asking  questions  and  he  hasn’t  quite  got  to  the  point  of  having  answers.    all  johnny  knows  is  that  this  bitch  has  got  some  killer  reputation,   and  he  needs  someone  with  that  and  more  if  he’s  gonna  get  alt  back.  so  what  if  he’d  acted  first  and  not  done  the  thinking  yet.   there  isn’t  any  time  to  lose,   and  he  had  to  take  the  first  chance  he  got.

except  his  mind  is  a  void  of  nothing  helpful.   he  needs  a  fix,   a  drink,   something.   but  johnny  doesn’t  need  to  reach  for  the  flask  in  his  pocket  to  know  it’s  empty,   and  he  can  still  hear  the  near  deafening  sound  of  the  pill  bottle  as  its  hollow  form  clamored  into  the  trashcan  earlier.  so  his  nerves  are  shot,   his  body  begging  for  some  kind  of  escape,  and  he’s  still  got  to  come  up  with  a  plan. 

         ❛  here ---  ❜   he  pulls  up  the  makeshift  map  of  the  building  where  they’re  keeping  her,  cursing  himself  for  being  unable  to  do  this  on  his  own,   and  jabs  a  metal  digit  at  the  screen.   ❛  ---  i  need  you  to  get  me  in  this  room.  ❜    he  wants  to  go  in  guns  blazing,   wants  to  make  a  massacre  out  of  every  corpo  cunt  that’s  ever  looked  his  way.   but  he  has  to  keep  a  level  head,   has  to,   or  it’s  all for  nothing.  another  tap  and  he  brings  up  the  security  overlay,   watching  her  face  as  the  screen  becomes  alive  with  little  indicators  ------cameras,   guards,   security  doors.   he  doesn’t  know  if  she  can  even  do  this,   and  she  has  no  real  reason  to  agree  to  help  him.  but  he  needs  someone  with  a  quieter  touch,   or  he’ll  never  get  alt  out  alive.

She wasn’t aggressive in her body language or words, but she could easily become so in a moment’s notice if provoked. “ Last I heard, you were in Australia... ”
