could you do an analysis on rogue of mind? ps i love your takes on all of the classpects and how you delve more into personality instead of just focusing on what they would do in a session
I used to focus on what they would do in a session, since I was unsure about how to approach personality. I didn't want to be "wrong", but after operating this blog for 5, almost 6, months, I can confidently say that there is literally no right or wrong answer to analysis. It's just your take on it.
The Rogue of Mind
While I wrote this all I was listening to was THE MEAT GRINDER (and yes it's the fucking Jerma song)
Rogue - passive stealing class, one who steals aspect, or steals through aspect for others.
Mind - the power over thoughts or control over minds.
The Rogue of Mind is one who steals Mind, or steals through Mind for others.
The opposite of a Rogue of Mind is a Page of Heart.
What comes to mind (haha) immediately about a Rogue of Mind is that they LOVE to recycle ideas. If something itches their brain enough and they like it, they're obviously going to re-use the idea three million times over, because it's just that good.
But Rogues struggle with accepting the fact that they have their aspect. Not that they have a lack of it, it just comes off that way to them.
And this lack of Mind can lead them into loops where all they do is do the same idea over and over again to the point where it becomes stale and repetitive.
And they need to start working away from it. The Rogue of Mind strikes me as someone who would work a lot better in a team environment instead of a solitary one. They are a people person, because stealing ideas kind of requires people.
That sounds a little rude, but what I essentially mean is that in an environment with a lot of people, the Rogue of Mind is able to take ideas from other people, and makes a metaphorical salad out of all of these ideas.
They aren't being malicious, they're just doing something that they think would work well. And it would. Their unique perception of mixing together parts of ideas that they like to get something new is pretty inventive of them.
They're your session's other great thinker. They can find concepts out of the most obscure of corners, because they are constantly recycling information that they find and take for themselves, usually from other people. That might tread on the territory of Light a little bit, but Mind and Light are very intertwined anyways.
