“Yeah...really nothing bad. I thought we would have more trouble here to be perfectly honest!”,Yujin laughed and rubbed their head nervously. Staying in a smaller space with someone in a different country,well that would be a challenge.“He just said if we have any problems,we can come to him but I hope we don’t have too...or if...then you better go. He already gave me this look when he heard my name urg...”Perhaps Japan was not the safest counrty to stay for  a month and a half for the both of them because of their race,but at least Mark had that “european looking” bonus so people would less likely kick him out and help him while...they would chase out Yujin with a broom...probably.“B-but you knooow! that doesn’t mean anything breaks here or anything....”Yujin was ready to get their training schedule once this day was over. Her sensei just said they had to go to his friend and they would get a packed training schedule for the whole time. This was to be expected since people were working very hard for success here.The days would be long and hard,barely time to keep contact with the others. Barely time to clean or cook. There would be times where both of them had to rely on 24/7 markets and ramen.Oh damn,ramen wasn’t Yujin’s favorite for sure. There were other specialties in this wonderful country but Yujin wasn’t so sure if they had the time for that except on the weekends or sundays. The area they were in right now seemed quite nice. Not many families around. Rather more college students and single men. Rarely any single women.A small market around the corner,a small bus station a few minutes ago.A lot different than home was and yet kinda similar. At least it wasn’t the city.For what they had in mind,they needed to stay focused and in the city it was hard to keep that.“But it’s nice here,right? I think your japanese will get a lot better too. Some people..uhm..won’t just take my word for full..you know...japanese people and korean people..ehehe...won’t probably stop so easily.”Japan was probably the number one spot Yujin always wanted to visit or stay for a longer time. The only thing preventing them to do that was the narrowminded mindset of some people in Japan...mostly older generations. Even their mom tried to make them stay in Maine rather than having special training for that long. The only hope Yujin had for this time was that there wouldn’t be some broke college student breaking into their apartment at night or anything close to that.“Let’s get in and get some tea. It was a long flight anyways and tomorrow we have to get up early.”
