Roommates!Roderick having to escort his 12+ year old daughter to a Taylor Swift concert, maybe accompanied by some of her friends. And him just sitting in the audience, attempting to make his daughter happy so he’s singing along to all the music right.

BUT THEN weeks after he still has all the songs stuck in his head. And he’s going about the house/apartment singing them. And Marley just getting aggravated. And he can tell she is so he SINGS LOUDER.

“Just shut up and kiss me.”

Roderick let out a chuckle at Mason’s words, until he realized he was being 100% serious. He choked on his last laugh and looked at Mason a bit dumbfounded. “Oh.” He mumbled out, his eyes going wide. That was the last thing he ever expected to hear coming from him. “I thought you said those kinds of feelings didn’t expand past your dream about me, McCarthy…” he said, his face going a light pink color. “And no…I will not kiss you. Sorry to burst your bubble, bud.”

“Why are you starring at me like that?”

But it’s okay, cause so am I honestly.

“What do you mean you lost the ring?!" 

I wanted to do a McHayward thing for this. But couldn’t because they done got married already. So… Like… idk I tried really hard.

Roderick opened his mouth to say something, however words were unable to be verbalized, so he just closed it again. By the look on Mason’s face, he could tell her probably looked like a major idiot right now. How could someone lose something of such value as easily as Roderick had with this. “I didn’t lose it…. per say. Just… misplaced it.” He blurted out fast. With the way Mason’s face distorted, he knew it probably wasn’t safe to stay very close to him. So, Roderick turned and speed walked out of the room. Deciding it was a good idea to go search for the ring before the ceremony started. 

"Why are you in a wedding dress?”  BAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Roderick turned and looked at Mason, his eyes going wide as he shook his head quickly. “I… I have a good reason for it.” He said, holding his hands up in defense. “Marley and I are trying to find a Halloween costume and… and… I don’t really know what to say actually.” He said, trailing off and dropping his arms at his side. “Now… do you think you could unzip me?” 

“You can’t spend the rest of your life with someone you don’t love.”

[Rod]: Are you fucking serious? Mason you aren’t the only person walking the face of the planet with self esteem issues. Because that’s what you fucking have, self esteem issues. All I was trying to fucking do was help you out and give you some advice, but fuck you because… you shut up.
