How was the wedding?” Albedo greeted Rook from the couch in the Plumber lounge. The base was mostly deserted because of the festivities.
“It was wonderful.” Rook answered.
“I was not invited.” Albedo harrumphed.
“You on numerous occasions threatened the bride and the groom.”
“Yes but in a funny way.”
“You are something” Rook muttered looking away.
Albedo stood looking at his pinched expression
“I am….do you want to kiss me?”
“What?” Rook's head whipped up, his face wide and open.
Albedo smirked and adopted a wider, looser stance as he approached.
“Oh Blonko I was so wrong to choose her and not you” he cooed, draping himself over Rook's chest.
“Albedo” he growled softly.
“Nope” he popped the p obnoxiously “I’m Ben”
“What nonsense are you spouting?”
“You can safely indulge with me ….I am a suitable outlet to express those repressed feelings.”
“You are a menace.”
He leaned up to press his lips to Rook's jaw. “Blonko I love you.” he whispered.
Rook's heart seized and he pushed Albedo back.
“I will hate you for that.” he promised, stepping back and exiting the room.
He looked at the retreating figure with a soft sigh.
“That wasn't Ben, that was from me you idiot.”
