This week we present Antony & Cleopatra, a tragedy by William Shakespeare, with an introductory essay by Keith Please. The book was designed and produced by Ron King for his Circle Press Publications in Guildford, England, in 1979 in an edition of 300 copies, 5 H.C. copies, 40 Artistās Proofs, and ten marked Circle Press held for presentation. It includes over 30 screen-prints by Ron King, including screen-printed handwriting annotations by Keith Please. All copies are signed by the artist. Walter Taylor assisted in the setting of the text in 10 pt. Baskerville and the press-work was done by John Coleman. The paper is pure rad-made 250 gsm Velin Cuve Rives Blank, and the book is housed in a box designed and made at The Dorest Bookbinding Co. by Paul Haskell.
