He couldn’t admit that she was heavier than he expected (not that it mattered anyway), nor could he necessarily say she’d almost knocked the wind out of him when she landed on top of him. Either or wouldn’t have been taken so lightly by a woman, or anyone for that matter. But Roman is clearly not the most husky of men, despite being quite in shape, and definitely skinnier than he should be for a guy that sounds and looks the way he does.

He’d been wincing with her weight above him, and if she hadn’t fallen he probably wouldn’t feel so crushed under her, but quickly tried to make his face more neutral in fear that he’d offend her. “Hey, hey.” He prompted, leaning up and resting on his elbows. “I just didn’t expect it! Would you rather me have let you fall on your face?”

      Her expression quickly softened at his words, thinking that maybe she would have been too harsh—he was the one who took the fall and got hurt, after all. “..No.” Looking away, she pursed her lips together before glancing back at him. Seolhyun cleared her throat before speaking, voice almost inaudible. “Thank you.. for catching me.”
